Beverly Hills Facial Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon

Dr. Julie Edween D.O.

Dr. Edween focuses on aesthetic cosmetic plastic surgery procedures including facelifts, blepharoplasty, browlifts, rhinoplasty, chin augmentation, otoplasty, breast augmentation, abdominoplasty, buttlock lift and liposuction. With the rapidly growing technologic age, embracing the advances in the non-surgical field is key to stay in the forefront. Her enthusiasm to share her expertise is published in the newly released medical text on non-surgical rejuvenation.

She received her medical degree and graduated with honors, Magna Cum Laude from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, and was trained in Facial Plastic Surgery at Michigan State University Botsford Hospital. She then completed a cosmetic fellowship through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery in Southern California. Dr. Edween has been an academic lecturer in the field of cosmetic plastic surgery at her medical school and national continuing medical education meetings.

Her attention to detail and meticulous surgical expertise, along with a female perspective, has drawn patients from across the United States and around the world. She advises and consults on beauty and health through her Cosmetic and Facial Plastic Surgery practice and follows her own advice on how to live a healthy life. In Hollywood where the media dictates what beauty is, her practice stands as a counterpoint, empowering women to understand that true beauty is not something set forth by the standards of society.

In addition to her practice, Dr. Edween dedicates her time to the non-profit organization she co-founded with her college roommate, the Eunice Wavomba Foundation. By creating access to basic healthcare and education, she gives back to underprivileged woman and children in sub-Saharan Africa, bringing hope for a better future.
