She received her medical degree and graduated as Magna Cum Laude from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, and was trained in Facial Plastic Surgery at Michigan State University Botsford Hospital. She then completed a cosmetic fellowship through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery in Southern California.
