How to Send Photographs for a virtual consultation with Dr. Edween

Use a cell phone with high resolution.

After receipt of your photos you will be scheduled for a Skype virtual consultation with Dr. Edween.

Step One – Initial Contact

Fly-In for a Personal Consultation and Exam. For those who prefer to meet with Dr. Edween and staff before making any decisions, please fill out our contact us form and a Patient Care Consultant will contact you to schedule your initial consultation.

All pre-operative clearance must be obtained ahead of time. We will provide you the requested pre-operative forms to take to your doctor and ask that you make arrangements to have the completed forms faxed back to us at least 2 weeks prior to your surgery.

The length of time you will need to stay in Beverly Hills is determined by which procedures you are having. We are accustomed to accommodating out-of-town patients and are happy to assist you with your travel needs, including recommendations for local accommodations, restaurants, activities, etc.”

A consultation form will be emailed to you and a Virtual consultation will be scheduled based on the photos you provided.

The Virtual Consult

The virtual consultation is starting point in which you obtain information, but not a substitute for a formal medical consultation with Dr. Edween. Prior to your surgery you will have a formal consultation during which time the procedure and your options will be discussed in detail and your opportunity to have your questions fully answered.

Step Two – Scheduling

Once you have determined that you wish to proceed with the proposed surgery, the scheduling process begins. Your Patient Care Consultant will offer surgical available dates. Second, a deposit will be required to secure the dates and final payments will be collected at the pre-operative visit. For your convenience, we accept all major credit cards and Care Credit. The first day will be spent in our office covering physical examination, pre/post-operative instruction, and review/signing of all consents. (A packet containing copies of all consents and instructions will be mailed to you upon scheduling for you to review and fill out ahead of time.

Step Three – Recovery

Depending on your procedure fly-in patients must plan on staying in Los Angeles for the required post- operative period, as your health and safe recovery is of utmost importance to Dr. Edween. The length of time you will need to stay in Beverly Hills is procedure dependent, so allow for the proper amount of time when making your travel arrangements. During this recovery period, many of our fly-in patients choose to stay at a nearby after-care facility where 24-hour nursing care and all the amenities of a luxury hotel ensure that you are safe and comfortable. We are accustomed to accommodating out-of-town patients and are happy to assist you with your travel needs, including recommendations for local accommodations, restaurants, activities, etc.”
